quando lei ama qualcuno ma va sprecare

since i haven't posted in a while this entry is going to be all over the place in terms of context. besides, that's the way my mind is recently anyways....confused, erratic, lost in a limbo, i'd much rather be living in my thoughts and imaginings than in real life.

so that above photo is from one of the most haunting things i've seen in a while. i know it doesn't look like much but yesterday it was. an older lady had a heart attack while driving and hit that tree going 90. the top of the tree came off. my mom & i drove by just after it happened, there were police cars everywhere and the tree was imprisoned behind police tape along with the car. she hit head on and split the car in the center almost to the back seat. word was that her chances of survival were slim and that the impact severed her legs. today the top of the tree was cleaned up but as i walked passed it on the way to the post office i could smell gasoline and pieces of the car remained on the lawn.

on a sweeter note............

rob's cat had kittens and i got to go see them! that photo was taken last week and the kitties were 10 days old, just learning to walk, dragging their little legs behind them as they pulled themselves across the floor. 7 in total, i want them all!

i finally saw 'the motorcycle diaries' and it was the most beautiful film i've seen in a long time. i also saw 'a very long engagement' which was the second most beautiful film i've seen in a long time....okay, maybe it ties. the only problem with that one was the subtitles, they were incomplete. i had to do some guesswork at what they were saying but the visuals were so stunning i forgave.

another beautiful thing i can't get enough of is the song "fix you" by coldplay. do you ever hear a song and a certain lyric hits you, i mean really hits you? well there's 2 in this one for me:

"When you love someone but it goes to waste"

"When you're too in love to let it go, but, if you never try you'll never know just what you're worth"
